Yves Saint Laurent Neutralizer

By  |

I’m really excited to share today’s post with you!  This Yves Saint Laurent Neutralizer is my very first Yves Saint Laurent beauty product!  I know, right!  It’s so classy and posh!  Ok, I promise to stop with all the exclamation points.  But, I’m pretty excited and I really like this product. (See, I stopped… I’ll be good.)

I received this Yves Saint Laurent Neutralizer from Influenster to review.  The name is officially Touche Eclat… but I don’t even know how to properly pronounce that even though I took 4 years of French a million years ago.  It’s not something I probably would have purchased on my own because I tend not to splurge on my concealers. That’s another reason I was really excited to give it a try.

Let’s start with the obvious.  The packaging is just stunning.  It’s a violet metallic pen and it’s just too pretty.  I know every time I grab this in my bag it will make me smile. Who doesn’t want to smile when they reach into their bag for a touchup?

The color on this neutralizer is Violet, which may seem a bit odd at first (at least it did for me).  But, if you battle under eye circles this little pen could be your new best friend.  It’s soooooo brightening and makes your under eye baggage look instantly refreshed and awake. It’s also very subtly violet.  It’s definitely not shocking purple or anything.

As you might expect, the product is very creamy and luxurious.  It blends like a dream and doesn’t crease up in the fine lines under and around eyes.

Have you tried an Yves Saint Laurent Neutralizer yet?  I’d love to know!

Oh, you lucky! BTW, it’s pronounced “toosh (long a) aclah), lol. I was fortunate enough to get the mascara, serum, blur, and two lipsticks so I shouldn’t be greedy, but I’d love this! So glad you’re enjoying it

I love Touche Eclat but haven’t tried this one. It’s so much more versatile too than you first realize.

tush-shecla (That’s how the national makeup artist pronounced it when I attended a beauty event here in Hawaii). Welcome to more YSL addictions, lol!

I love Touche Eclat but haven’t tried the Neutraliser. It sounds great for countering dull under-eye/inner-corner skin.

Oh – this sounds like a pretty cool product. I agree, pronouncing the name is so odd… but chic. Qui qui! lol

I’ve never tired the original, but have always wanted to. The violet tint makes this sound even better!
