Urban Decay Sample Pack- lipstick, eyeliner, primer and setting spray

By  |

Are you ready for some Urban Decay goodies?  I got this sample pack a couple weeks ago with lots of goodies and I’m itching to show it to you!  I always love Urban Decay products.  In fact, my daily eye primer and eyeliner are almost always Urban Decay.

Let’s start with the lipstick, shall we?  This Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in ‘Jilted’.  It’s a really hot fuchsia that has just enough neutral tones (meaning not too blue and not too orange) that I think it would flatter almost every skin tone. Plus, it has tons of staying power.  I don’t know about you, but my lipstick tends to be gone before I can get through a cup of coffee.  This one has made me pretty happy… coffee, snacks, still there!

And, just for proof that it’s ‘wearable’ here’s a pic of me wearing it!   I’ve really been trying to push myself into more bold lips.  This color is bold, for sure!  But, it’s also not ‘in yo face’.  Know what I mean?  I can wear it as a typical mom at the store and not feel like everyone is staring at me, but I could also see it with some hot eye makeup for a night out (I vaguely remember those… hahahahaha)

Moving on to eyes… Here’s Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in LSD.  This color is not for the faint of heart.  It’s a bold, rockstar blue with hits of glitter.  You kinda have to have a place to go to wear this color.  If you haven’t tried these eyeliners (gasp!) you really should.  I have very watery eyes and everything tends to smudge on me.  I’ve worn these eyeliners for years and never have a problem.  Every time I try something else, I remember why I stick with the 24/7 pencils.  They mean business!

And now for our Cinderella’s… you know, the stuff that just isn’t going to photograph well but is super useful: The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion and All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.  I use this primer for my eyes every day.  Yes, every darn day.  Like I said, my eyes are watery and I have oily skin which is a nightmare for keeping makeup on.  I never, ever crease with this stuff.

The setting spray is great in that you don’t know you’re wearing it.  You just mist it on and ‘poof’ it disappears.  Anything that is willing to keep my makeup lasting is worth it in my book, especially if it doesn’t feel like one more layer.  I have enough layers (shhh…. that’s our little secret!)

Do you either of these for staying power?  Do either of the colors speak to you?
