Pink and White Stamped Roses

It’s no secret that I love stamping and it’s also not a secret that I love nail art with flowers.  So, today it’s a double whammy with pink and white stamped roses! … And some red stamped roses, too.  We’ll get to that in a second.

People seem to have very distinct preferences about whether or not you can combine pink and red.  I’m on the “yes!” side.  I love the combination.  There is something about it that just feels romantic and pretty to me.  Maybe it’s too many construction paper valentine’s in my childhood.  I love it.

I used a base of Kleancolor Pastel Pink on all of my nails.  Then I used red and white stamping polish to add the roses.  The pattern came from a Pueen plate.  Honestly, I couldn’t decide to do red or white… so I gave in and did both with an accent nail. Why not? 😉

Pretty much everything at my house is blooming except my roses. I have gardenia, azalea and peonies all in beautiful spring bloom.  Maybe this mani will provide some inspiration to my roses to join in on the fun. What do you think?

I’m so excited for my peony to bloom – I didn’t think it took last year, but it turns out it did. 😀 Anyway, I adore this nail art, it reminds me of all the pretty flowers that will be blooming soon. 🙂

Thank you! Peonies are so beautiful. I just planted some myself a couple of weeks ago!
