Pink and orange water color nails

Time for some simple nail art.  Today I thought I’d do pink and orange water color nails. Water color mani’s are pretty easy and have a fun organic feel to them.  They’re also messy, so if you haven’t tried one yet, I highly recommend a little prep work first.

To prep for a watercolor mani, you can paint liquid latex or even school glue around your nail bed to protect you fingers from the mess.  Think of it just like doing a water marble.

Now for the easy part.  Pick a few colors that you like together.  I went with China Glaze Beauty Within, China Glaze Wanderlust and Noir Orange You Glad It’s Friday.

With each of the colors, drop a blob (highly technical term) on your nail.  While they’re all wet, dab the polish blogs with a plastic baggie.  Bam…. you’re done!

Have you tried a water color nail before?  I have a tutorial HERE if you’d like to see it. I’d love to hear how yours turned out!
