A little while back I got an Influenster box with Indeed Nanoblur in it.  You can take a look at the box and the post I wrote about it HERE. I had quite a few people tell me that they’d heard great things about it, so I wanted to follow up and tell you about my experience.

Nanoblur is supposed to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores.    The directions on the box say to apply to clean skin if you’re wearing it alone or to apply after liquid foundation.

The first time I tried to use it, I used it over my foundation.  I was VERY unhappy with the results of this.  All of the liquid foundation that I had applied was now splotchy and looked separated on my skin.  I had to wash it off.

Then I tried to go against the directions on the box and apply it under my liquid foundation.  I’ve read online that people wear it under their foundation, mixed with their foundation and on top of their foundation.  Supposedly, you can’t go wrong.  Well, putting it on first made it nearly impossible to apply to apply my foundation.  It was blotchy no matter what I tried to blend it out.

It’s certainly possible that my skin just doesn’t get along with this product or my foundation doesn’t get along with it.  Either way, it’s just not for me.  I’m going to have to go back to the other blurring products that I’ve grown to love.

Have you tried Indeed Nanoblur?  Did it work for you?

I haven’t tried Nanablur, but I had the same problem with L’Oreal Miracle Blur – no matter how I used it, it didn’t work. Now, I have had better results with YSL Blur Perfector, but that’s a pretty pricey product and I bought I would buy it on my own because of that. The YSL can be patted on top of foundation so it doesn’t mess it up as much as applying a gel like Miracle Blur that just smeared my foundation around. But I think the promise of these products are better than the delivery 😉

Thank you so much for the warning. I’ve found that RoC’s blurring product is great so I’ll stick with that and forget this one.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the terrible results. It looks siliconey to me and I’ve heard that unless the cones are below a certain proportion, pilling and splotichiness can result.

My skin is really dry so I cant use primers, I only prep with moisturizers or use foundations that don’t need a primer.

The consistency of what this product looks like seems like something I would like – but it’s a bummer that it didn’t work. My skin is really dry so I have to be very selective of what primers or blur products I can or cannot use.
