My first Ipsy Bag!

My first Ipsy bag!  I’ve waited forever it seems.  They have a very smart strategy for new customers to spread the word about their company to speed up the process.  I can’t say that I love the strategy, but it sure is genius.  If I were them, I’d probably do the same thing.

There are a couple of things I totally love about the Ipsy bag… which are the reasons I signed up to get them in the first place.  First of all, the bag itself.  I’m constantly looking for makeup bags to throw in my purse or take on a trip.  The idea that you get a new bag every time is awesome to me.  I can never bring myself to buy a makeup bag on it’s own.  No idea why, I just seem to struggle with paying for them.  And this particular bag is fun and whimsical.

The second thing I totally love is the full size products.  The bag is a perfect mix (in my opinion) of travel size products and full size products.  In this particular bag, I got a full size set of lashes.  Is there such a thing as a sample size lash?  Hahahaha… Probably not, but you get my point.  I’ve tried Eyelure lashes before and these are just my speed. Natural and simple, not over the top.

Second full size product is the Cailyn extreme matte tint.  I really never buy matte for my lips, so this was fun to get to try out.  And, I really like how it looks on.  You do need to make sure that you have extremely moisturized and exfoliated lips to carry it off. But, if you can do that before you apply the lip tint it really looks beautiful.  Very sophisticated and long lasting.  The color I got was called Narcissist.

Another great product in this bag is the IT Cosmetics CC cream.  I literally giggled when I saw it, because just last week I did a post about their new CC bronzer!  What a funny coincidence that was.  And, as you already know, I LOVE their CC cream.  This travel size beauty is going with me to Cali this fall 😉

Also in my bag is a Briogeo Rosarco Milk leave in conditioner.  I always love trying different leave in products since I embraced my curls a year or so ago.  My hair is long, so I go through a lot of it.

The last product is Jesse’s Girl pure pigment eye dust.  The color is Brown Sugar and it looks like a great neutral brown for a smokey nude eye.  Cross your fingers!

Do you get an Ipsy bag?  I’d love to know what you got!

You got a fabulous bag!!! I love the shade of the Cailyn lippie tho’ my dry lips probably couldn’t handle it. Brigeo makes my favorite shampoo: Green Tea, so I hope the leave-in conditioner is a good one. And I love Eyelure false lashes! Enjoy it!

Thanks lady! I thought the same thing about my dry lips, but if I use Blistex in the morning I can usually be ok until noon and then I repeat. Oh, the joys of girlyness!
