Holo Stamped Flowers

It occurred to me today that we finally have an abundance of sunshine and I have totally failed to take advantage of it.  When there is sunshine, one must get out the holo!  And, of course, my favorite technique is stamping so holo stamped flowers sounded perfect for me.

I used a base of Barielle Take Me Shopping for some fun summer coral ‘pop’ and then got out my Color Club Kismet and a Pueen stamping plate.  Easy peasy.

The best thing about an easy peasy mani?  You have more time to sit out on your deck in the sunshine and enjoy it! Who’s with me?!?!?! I think this mani calls for a mango margarita.  Yup… mango.  That’s what I need right now to go with this mani.  Or, perhaps that’s just an excuse for a mango margarita?  Either way, it works for me!

So, back to the polish. Holo polishes almost always stamp really well.  I have a couple in my stash that don’t, but probably 90% of them work great.  The formula on a holo is generally a little thicker than regular polish and they are usually very pigmented.  Two things you really need to pull off a good stamped image.

Have you gotten out your holo?  I’d love to know!
