butter LONDON Scrubbers

If your a ‘nailista’ (that’s what I like to call those of us who are a bit obsessed with nails and polish) then you go through A LOT of remover.  I tend to order 32 ounce bottles a few times a year.  That’s a lot of remover!  So, when I got a sample of butter LONDON scrubbers with one of my recent beauty product orders, I was very skeptical.  Will it get off all of my polish or will I have to reach for my regular remover to finish things up?

I’ll tell you straight off that I didn’t give this little scrubber an easy task.  I had a mani with a couple of layers and reeeeeeally dark polish.  This isn’t easy for any remover to take care of.

Each pad is a tiny little square.  I smirked at it when I opened the package.  But to cut to the chase… it did a great job! All 10 of my nails got removed with this tiny square.  It’s crazy but true!  I will tell you that because my polish was so dark, I did get out a clean cotton ball with fresh remover on it to wipe away a bit of residue, especially around my cuticles.  But the polish itself was all gone.

I think I might pick up a few of these for quick polish changes on vacation.  Definitely worth throwing in my bag.

Have you tried butter LONDON scrubbers?  I’d love to know!

Sounds wonderful! I had a mani last week, and the manicurist had to remove my Zoya Godiva glitter polish first. She did a terrible job with whatever she was using. I removed the polish she applied a few days later and found the zoya glitter still on my fingers. I need this!!

Wow… that would be really frustrating. Ridiculous that you had to pay her to do a shoddy job. I haven’t tried these with glitter. Your best bet may be the foil method. Put some remover on a cotton ball, place it on your nail, wrap it in a bit of foil and let it set for a few minutes. That’s the best method I’ve tried so far.

I feel like nail wipes just keep getting better and better. The ones from NCLA are ridiculously good. I’ll have to check these ones out too!

I’m so surprised they worked! The squares are so small, are they easier on your nail than regular polish remover?

I would say they’re about the same. I normally use Zoya Remove and I’d say these were comparable. Definitely more gentle than plain acetone.

Totally. Anything that isn’t chunky would come off super easily.
