bareMinerals Locked and Coated

I’ve become a mascara junkie.  There, I said it.  Until about 2 years ago (give or take) I always used cheap mascara and thought I got results that were fine.  I splurged on other things instead.  Then I got a sample of a higher end mascara and learned that there is actually a huge difference.  How do you turn back after that?  I know I can’t!

But, one thing I’ve found in the mascara’s I try is that they’re not all sold in waterproof.  I don’t swim or cry often, but for some reason my mascara always smudges under my eyes.  I think it must have something to do with my oily skin and the fact that my eyes water.  Either way, it’s not a great look.  No one is happy about raccoon eyes.  When I stumbled across bareMinerals Locked and Coated of course I was intrigued!

It’s literally a waterproof topcoat for your mascara.  It’s clear and does nothing other than make your mascara waterproof.  Does it work?  OMG… yes.  It totally works. You can rub your eyes, cry, or even swim and it will… not… budge!

A little swipe across your top and bottom lashes is all you need and it will last you all day.  I’ve tried it over tons of different mascaras and it’s always reliable.  Easy to use and removes easy with my everyday makeup remover/face wash.

Do you have a mascara that you want to waterproof?  I’d love to know!

I don’t buy waterproof formulas, so I also get raccoon eyes sometimes due to my oily skin, etc. This sounds interesting!!
